Variety of games and level of competition
At Bodog you have the usual range of games such as Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Stud. In the tournament section there are sit & go´s and multitable tourneys. It’s the micro-limits that mostly attract players. The games are usually quite loose which should suit small stake players just fine. But you can also find good games of NLT at the mid level range.
Ring game rakes/tournament entry fees
The rake is up to 5% at all games with a maximum fee of $3. The size of the rake depends on the number of players at the table. The good news is that if there’s no flop, then there’s no rake. The tournament rake is the usual 10%.
Traffic - ring games and tournaments
Even though Bodog is a fairly new site there are around 2500 players at peak hours. Most games are low stakes NL Hold’em, ranging from $0.05-$0.10 up to $1-$2. But there are also higher games constantly going on such as $5-$10 NLH and limit games up to $30-$60.

Graphics and software functionality
Bodog has its own poker software called Bodog 2.0. It’s fast and functions well. Players can play a maximum of three tables simultaneously. Theirs is also the possibility to view all the tables one is playing at right next to the main table. The lobby is full of important information like the size of the average pot and the percentage of players participating in the pots. A nice finesse is that the player is always seated in the middle of the table. Players can also se statistics about their own play, such as number of winning hands and how often they take part in the pots, very useful indeed. The graphics are a slightly different than what most are used to and takes a little time to adjust to but is actually very functional. Players can upload images of them self and use them as avatars.
